Information you give us: name and phone/WhatsApp number when you book a class or contact us; email address when you subscribe to DGMI News; name, email and profile details when you register a community account; content you submit (posts, comments); and payment-related details processed by our payment providers when you enroll in a course (we do not store card numbers).
Information collected automatically: standard log and device data, approximate location from IP, and usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. We use Google reCAPTCHA on forms to prevent spam, which may collect device and interaction data under Google’s own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
To respond to enquiries and schedule classes; deliver courses and issue certificates; send the newsletters you subscribed to (unsubscribe any time via the link in every email); operate the community โ accounts, submissions, comments, XP and ranks; improve the website through aggregated analytics; prevent spam and abuse; and meet legal obligations.
3. What We Never Do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails without your consent. We do not display your email publicly โ community profiles show only your chosen display name, avatar, bio and activity.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for essential site functions (login sessions, comment convenience), analytics (Google Analytics), and spam prevention (reCAPTCHA). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect login and community features.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted processors: Hostinger (hosting), Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA, Search), WhatsApp (chat and community channel), our newsletter delivery system, and payment gateways for course fees. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. External links from our articles lead to sites we don’t control.
6. Community Content
Posts and comments you publish in the DGMI Community are public, together with your display name and avatar. Submissions are moderated before publishing. You may edit your profile at any time and may request deletion of your account and content (see Your Rights).
7. Data Retention & Security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as law requires, and protect it with HTTPS encryption, access controls and reputable infrastructure. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
8. Your Rights
In line with applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; withdraw consent (e.g., unsubscribe); and nominate a grievance contact. 9. Children
Our services are intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us for removal.
